Applies to: Sundance NYD (Batch Winery) & R-Sunday (Te Motu)
Ticketing Platform: Flicket (or equivalent) – their platform T&Cs and privacy policy also apply.
1) DefinitionsOrganiser / We / Us: Insomniak Records Ltd.Events: “Sundance NYD” (New Year’s Day at Batch Winery) and “R-Sunday” (series at Te Motu).
Venue: Batch Winery (Sundance NYD), Te Motu (R-Sunday).
You / Attendee: Any ticket holder or person admitted to the event site.
T&Cs: These Terms & Conditions.
2) Ticketing & Admission2.
1 All tickets are issued digitally via Flicket (or announced equivalent).
Your ticket is a revocable license.2.2 R18 unless explicitly advertised otherwise.
Valid photo ID required (NZ Driver Licence, Passport, Kiwi Access/HANZ 18+).
No ID = no entry.
2.3 Tickets are non-refundable except if the event is cancelled in full by the Organiser (see “Refunds, Postponement & Cancellation”).
2.4 Tickets may not be resold above face value or via unauthorised channels. We may cancel scalped/fraudulent tickets without refund.
2.5 The first valid barcode scanned gains entry. Duplicates/photocopies will be refused.
2.6 Name changes (if required) must be completed via Flicket within their timelines/fees.
2.7 No pass-outs/re-entry unless stated on the day by Event Control.
2.8 We may refuse entry or remove any person for intoxication, antisocial behaviour, breach of T&Cs, or safety reasons — no refund.
3) Event Conditions & Schedule
3.1 Events proceed rain or shine, subject to safety. The schedule/lineup/site plan may change without notice.
3.2 You must follow all directions of staff, Duty Managers, WDS Security, and emergency services.
3.3 The Venue’s local consents, resource conditions, and Auckland Local Alcohol Policy (LAP) apply. Hours are subject to licensing.
4) Alcohol, Food & Beverages
4.1 No BYO food or alcohol. Bag checks apply.
4.2 Bars serve a curated selection of beer, wine, cocktails, RTDs, low-alcohol (1.15–2.5%) and non-alcoholic drinks.
4.3 Free drinking water is available at all bars and dedicated stations.
4.4 Food vendors will operate for the duration (substantial food available).
4.5 No alcohol may leave the licensed area. No glassware in patron areas; eco cups only.
5) Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
5.1 We comply with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and the Auckland LAP.
5.2 Certified Duty Managers are on duty at all times; staff complete ServeWise training.
5.3 Controls may include: 1 drink per person per serve, no shots, no doubles, RTDs <8% ABV, and service refusal.
5.4 We will refuse service to minors, intoxicated persons, or anyone supplying alcohol to minors/intoxicated persons. You may be removed without refund.
5.5 Alcohol-free and low-alcohol options are always available.
6) Security, Safety & Searches6.1 Professional security (WDS Security or equivalent) will manage entry, patron safety, and ejections.
6.2 Entry search conditions apply (bags, person, prohibited items). Refusal to be searched = no entry/no refund.
6.3 Prohibited items include (not limited to): illegal substances, weapons, glass, projectiles, aerosol cans, lasers, drones, fireworks, professional photo/video gear (without accreditation), amplified Bluetooth speakers, gang patches, and any item deemed unsafe.
6.4 We operate a Zero Harassment policy. Report any issues to staff/security immediately.
6.5 First Aid and a Safe Zone are onsite; you agree to seek assistance when required.
7) Transport & Departure
7.1 We encourage public transport (Fullers Ferries), event shuttles, taxis/rideshare.
7.2 Plan departures early to match last ferries/buses. Announcements and signage will promote safe options.
7.3 Limited on-site patron parking (if any). Do not drink and drive.
8) Amenity, Noise & Community
8.1 Professional engineers manage sound levels and direct speakers away from residences.
8.2 Events comply with curfews and local conditions.
8.3 Waste, recycling, and site cleanliness are actively managed. Please use the bins provided.8.4 Smoking/vaping only in designated areas.
9) Accessibility & Wellbeing
9.1 If you have accessibility requirements, please contact us at least 7 days prior so we can assist.
9.2 Bring sun protection; shade structures are provided but the event is outdoors.
10) Lost Property & Personal Items
10.1 You are responsible for your belongings. The Organiser and Venue are not liable for loss or damage.
10.2 Lost property will be held for a reasonable period. Email us after the event.
11) Photography, Filming & Media
11.1 By entering, you consent to photography/filming. Media may be used by Insomniak Records and event partners for marketing and documentation in any medium without compensation.
11.2 Personal, non-commercial phone content is fine. Professional gear requires prior accreditation.
12) Privacy & Data
12.1 Ticketing and payments are processed by Flicket; their Privacy Policy & Terms apply.
12.2 We may contact you about event updates and future shows. You can opt out anytime.
13) Refunds, Postponement & Cancellation (Read Carefully)
13.1 Refunds are only offered if the event is cancelled in full by the Organiser.
13.2 If the event is postponed, your ticket automatically transfers to the new date — no refunds.
13.3 If the event starts but is stopped/curtailed due to weather, safety, licensing or force majeure, no refunds will be issued.
13.4 Ticketing and merchant fees are non-refundable.
13.5 We are not responsible for any travel/accommodation costs.
14) Force MajeureEvents beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to severe weather, acts of God, pandemic directives, government orders, power failure, safety incidents, transport disruption, industrial action) may require us to alter, postpone, or cancel the event. Clause 13 applies.
15) Liability & Assumption of Risk
15.1 You acknowledge the inherent risks of outdoor events and accept personal responsibility for your safety.
15.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Organiser, Venue, contractors and partners are not liable for any personal injury, illness, property loss or damage, or consequential loss.
15.3 Nothing in these T&Cs limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where applicable.
16) Breach of TermsAny breach of these T&Cs may result in refusal of entry or removal without refund and, if necessary, notification to Police.
17) Changes to TermsWe may update these T&Cs at any time. The version on the ticketing page at the time of purchase applies.

Event-Specific Addenda
A) Sundance NYD – Batch Winery
Date/Time: 1 January (NYD), proposed 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM (subject to licensing/resource conditions).
Venue: Batch Winery, Waiheke Island.
Format: Two stages (Funktion-One main, RCF garden), curated bars, food trucks, VIP tables, Safe Zone, First Aid.Alcohol Controls: 1 drink per serve; no shots/doubles; RTDs <8% ABV; eco cups; no alcohol beyond licensed area.
Transport: Fullers ferries, shuttle buses to/from Matiatia Wharf, taxi/rideshare zone.
Curfew/Noise: Managed by professional engineers; event concludes by curfew as required by licensing.
B) R-Sunday – Te Motu
Dates/Times: Scheduled Sundays (seasonal) typically 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (subject to licensing).
Venue: Te Motu Vineyard, Waiheke Island.
Format: Single or dual-stage setup (as advertised), curated bars, food vendors, Safe Zone, First Aid.Alcohol Controls: Same RSA controls as above; eco cups; no alcohol beyond licensed area.
Transport: Fullers ferries + shuttles; encourage public transport.
Curfew/Noise: As per venue resource consents and licensing.
